An Angry White Guy in Chicago: 99 Feces (or a response to the latest Theater Summit):

And the terms flew out of his mouth as well as most in the room. "Buy-in." "Infrastructure." "Financial Strategy." And I was struck once again by the idea that every actor I know hates corporate culture. Ask anyone who works in corporate environment and they'll bemoan the bloodless meetings, dry, lifeless agendas, and meaningless breakout sessions. And yet, when given the opportunity to involve themselves in theater - THEATER - the only tools used seem to be those exact same corporate tools and lingo.
